The Presses of Pain From the presses of pain Comes the soul's best wine For eyes that have shed no rain Can shed no shine At the Master's table is always the best wine because the Master has pressed the grapes and made the best wine from His tears and His pain He bore for us. So when we commune with God at His table, the wine is His blood, shed for us and the bread is His body crucified and resurrected for us. Through this process of the "presses of pain" Jesus gives us eternal hope and life everlasting. If we partake from His table, we shine with His light. Psalms 23 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the quiet waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You annoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Selah ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Have you tasted the best wine from the Master's table? Do you have eyes to see? Do you have ears to hear? Do you have an open heart so you can receive this message? The message is about the love of God. Do you have the love of God in your soul? Have you received your daily bread from the Master's table? Have you really ever tasted the sweet wine He has to offer humanity? Knock and the door will be opened. Seek and you shall find. Ask and you will receive. My prayer is this: That anyone who reads this will feel the Spirit of God and be touched. God can even touch the hardened heart., calloused by greed, hate, malious, revenge and things that keep souls from being in touch with God. Ask God for a clean heart. Ask God to open up your heart and let the Spirit guide your steps. "Thy" will be done, not "my" will be done. Surrender into the arms of Jesus. He is waiting for you. I have tasted of the wine and bread. That is why I can shine with God's goodness. I can shine through any storm that comes my way because I know that my God commands the heavens and the oceans. He rolls all the storms away because He is my protector in times of trouble. My enemies shall flee for fear from the wrath of God. I am precious in His sight. I am a child of God. I am blessed because my God lives within my soul. God is my provider! God is my protector! I will not lean on my own understanding. I will trust in the Lord to take care of me like the sparrows. I pray for my enemies. I am comforted and feel the peace that passes all understanding when I am in His presence.... Thank you God for holding me in your arms. In the name of Jesus.... Nancy

A Song For Ashley (This song was written about my beautiful daughter, Ashley Marie) Hey my bright and shining gem Diamonds and sapphires for your eyes Glowing with the light of a million sunrises Follow through a meadow filled with clover It's a butterfly, now can you really catch it? You have that child-like faith You hold the key to my heart Through your eyes I see love When you here I'm not alone You are a precious gift I know I am sheltered by the peace in your smile You are my child Watching your steps I can see You are my child When I am with you I feel free I have watched how you have grown That little seed that God has sown They say teach your children well And into His kingdom one day they will dwell Through your eyes I see love When you are here I'm not alone You are a precious gift I know I am sheltered by the peace in your smile :-) * Love you Ash Mom

From Riches to Rags Riches to rags Living out of bags Place to place Space to space The journey seems endless Sometimes even friendless Funny how true colors are shown When some won’t even pick up the phone Riches to rags, I seem to be I'm all right. I shall be free Late night prayers as I lay in bed Give me this day my daily bread The kindness of a stranger Having faith, fearing no danger My old leather Bible in hand All those words help me to stand Riches to rags, Jesus came down from above With all the gentleness of a morning dove Now I’m thankful for the little things With all the colors of love it brings Standing up against an evil force Running the race, finishing the course Always believing someday I’ll have a home Where my soul is not restless, no more to roam Have you ever just had nothing? No money, no gas, no medicine or resources at all? What if an entity came and withheld them from you just to inflict pain? Would you trust God to be your provider? Think about it as you sit in your favorite chair, eating your favorite food and drinking your favorite drink. Think about all the earthly things we take for granted. Have you ever found yourself from riches to rags? Like a thief in the middle of the night, evil can come and get in your face. This force could take all your earthly possessions and hold them captive. It is a form of cruel punishment with the motive of hatred and revenge. This entity will try to inflict pain. No one can ever take away your Spirit, unless you let them. The best way to handle this situation is to put on the Armour of God and get the victory over evil intent. You must discern good from evil. Ephesians 6:10-17 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world. Put on the whole Armour of God, that you may be able to stand and withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on breastplates of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. Remember those who emulate evil will not see the kingdom of God. They shall be cast away by their very own Creator. But those few who display the fruits of the Spirit shall inherit “ALL” the riches prepared by “HIS HANDS!” Eph: 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you don’t walk as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their minds, having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart. Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. So what are the fruits of true believers? What’s in your tree? Is your tree healthy and bearing delicious fruit? You can judge people by the trees they have plant and grow. Some have withered leaves, dying limbs, fruitless trees with mold, webs, thorns and worms left there to kill the tree and leave it barren. I want the Creator to look down at my healthy fruitful tree and grant me favor. Gal 5: 16-25 Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The flesh lusts against the flesh. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these, adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and these souls shall not inherit the kingdom of God. The fruits of the Spirit are LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE: against such there is no law. For if a man thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. Vengeance is mine says the Lord. He owns it! Don’t take his vengeance or you will reap his wrath and will feel miseries upon miseries. So the fruits of the Spirit are the best. When you love, when you feel joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance, you a true believer. In my Father’s house are many mansions. If it weren’t true he would have said so. He went to prepare a place, an eternal home for the true believer to rest for an eternity with streets of gold, walls of alabaster and jasper. Heaven is going to be so beautiful, made by “HIS HANDS” and for “ALL” true believers to come and rest forever. You can learn so much about God’s grace when you descend from riches to rags. That is what Jesus did. Peace in Christ, Nancy G
