TIME TO FLY

TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING
I CAN TASTE IT
SEE IT ON THE HORIZON
MY NEW SUNRISE
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

LET IT ALL IN
TUNE IT ALL OUT
TAKING OFF IS THE BEST
PART OF THE JOURNEY
OH TO REACH THE HIGHER GROUNDS
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

CLOUDS OF PAIN
BUT HERE COMES THE RAIN AGAIN
HERE TO RELEASE ME
CLOUDS AND RAIN
MY NEUTRALITY
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

HAVE YOU FLOWN WITH CLOUDS AND RAIN?
HITCH-HIKING THROUGH THE UNIVERSE
TAKING A FREE RIDE
IS ALWAYS THE BEST
MY SOUL IS TIRED, NEEDS TO REST
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

I CAN SEE THE MOON AND SUN AT THE SAMETIME
BOTH IN A RYTHMN AND RHYMNE
CAN I FLY WITH YOU IN TANDEM?
YES IN THE DREAMS
THAT COME EVERY DARK NIGHT
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

IT’S BETTER THAN RUNNING AWAY
CHARTING UNKNOWN WATERS
JUST SPREAD THOSE WEARY WINGS
AND CATCH THE AIR WAVES
SOURING UP AND LOOKING DOWN
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

I AM IN A RESTFUL AND PEACEFUL HOME
JUST LOANED TO ME, BUT IT’S NOT MINE
GATHERING STRENGTH AND COURAGE
FOR ONE LAST FLIGHT
FAR ABOVE MY DARKENED NIGHT
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING
ABOVE ALL THE TEARS
THAT FALL FROM MY EYES
AND HIT THE GROUND WITHOUT A SOUND
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

FEEL LIKE LETTING GO
NEEDING SHELTER
AND A WARM KIND FACE
TO GREET ME AT THE END OF MY FLIGHT
SAD AND DETACHED YET HOPEFUL
TIME TO FLY
FEEL LIKE FLYING

I Wish You Time

If you need time
Then I wish you time
I pray time comes your way
Time to stop
And rest your weary soul
By a river
And hear it’s song

Time to right all the wrongs
Time…I wish you time

Yes you have time
But not the the time
You really need or long for
You have time to travel
endless highways
On your way
through your timeless days

Miles of time down the backroads
of your life

You have time for your daily bread and needs
Your stride seems endless
But real time…I wish for you
Time to dream
Time to rest
And do the thing
That you love best

Time…
I wish you time

Time that is not bound by a wristwatch
That reminds you to hurry back
On your way to end the day
And fall into the night
Thinking … I need time for me
My life here on earth
I wish you time

Time to love
and give time to others
Time to listen
and hold little children
In your lap and rock in a chair
Not a care in the world
Plenty of time for you

Time is endless to God
He has nothing to do with time
He just is
Father time

I wish you time
To walk an abandon shoreline
Searching for treasures
That wash
to the end
of the waves
Time to smile…yes

Time to look around
And enjoy the evening
Of your life
I wish you time…
You are kind
and need time
Time to be you

I wish you time..
endless time
I am wishing you time

I sure am learning about losses and gains.
You see I just lost my home...not the aspect of a place..
but a special place with character..now I can choose
gain in the loss or I can be bitter but..I choose gain...

The Prophet on Houses

Then a mason came forth and said, Speak to us of Houses.
And he answered and said:
Build of your imaginings a bower in the wilderness ere you build a house within the city walls.
For even as you have home-comings in your twilight, so has the wanderer in you, the ever distant and alone.
Your house is your larger body.
It grows in the sun and sleeps in the stillness of the night; and it is not dreamless. Does not your house dream? and dreaming, leave the city for grove or hilltop?
Would that I could gather your houses into my hand, and like a sower scatter them in forest and meadow.
Would the valleys were your streets, and the green paths your alleys, that you might seek one another through vineyards, and come with the fragrance of the earth in your garments.
but these things are not yet to be.
In their fear your forefathers gathered you too near together. And that fear shall endure a little longer. A little longer shall your city walls separate your hearths from your fields.
And tell me, people of Orphalese, what have you in these houses? And what is it you guard with fastened doors?
Have you peace, the quiet urge that reveals your power?
Have you remembrances, the glimmering arches that span the summits of the mind?
Have you beauty, that leads the heart from things fashioned of wood and stone to the holy mountain?
Tell me, have you these in your houses?
Or have you only comfort, and the lust for comfort, that stealthy thing that enters the house a guest, and then becomes a host, and then a master?
Ay, and it becomes a tamer, and with hook and scourge makes puppets of your larger desires.
It lulls you to sleep only to stand by your bed and jeer at the dignity of the flesh.
It makes mock of your sound senses, and lays them in thistledown like fragile vessels.
Verily the lust for comfort murders the passion of the soul, and then walks grinning in the funeral.
But you, children of space, you restless in rest, you shall not be trapped nor tamed.
Your house shall be not an anchor but a mast.
It shall not be a glistening film that covers a wound, but an eyelid that guard the eye.
You shall not fold your wings that you may pass through
doors, nor bend your heads that they strike not against a ceiling, nor fear to breathe lest walls should crack and fall down.
You shall not dwell in tombs made by the dead for the living.
And though of magnificence and splendour, your house shall not hold your secret nor shelter your longing.
For that which is bouldless in you abides in the mansion of the sky, whose door is the morning mist, and whose windows are the songs and the silences of the night..

God bless you with rich blessings...and may your home or
house be where your heart longs to be.....

YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY
BY: NANCY G.

YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY
ALL THE RIVERS FLOWING DOWN BY AND BY
NOW SHE'S LEAVING AND YOU WONDER WHY
YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY

YOU WANT IT TO BE THE SAME THING
YOU EVEN WEAR YOUR WEDDING RING
PAIN AND THE HURT CAME LIKE A STORM
FROM THE INSIDE OUT HER HEART WAS TORN
YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY

HOMELESS, LOVELESS, WITH NO EYES TO SEE
SHAMELESS, BLAMELESS
LONLINESS IS YOUR NEW HIGH
YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY

YOU DID NOT SEE HER EYES
YOU DID NOT OPEN YOURS OR EVEN TRY
NOW YOUR BLUE SKIES WITH TURN INTO GRAY
AND YOUR LEFT WITH JUST ONE THING TO SAY
I DID NOT SHE HER CRY

I DID NOT SEE HER CRY
AS SHE'S WALKING OUT THE DOOR
WHY DON'T YOU STOP AND LOVE HER MORE
SURELY YOU WILL GET BY
YOU DID NOT SEE HER CRY

IN MY ROOM

BY: BRIAN WILSON

THERE'S A WORLD WHERE I CAN GO
AND TELL MY SECRETS TO.
IN MY ROOM. IN MY ROOM.

IN THIS WORLD I LOCK OUT ALL MY
WORRIES AND MY FEARS.
IN MY ROOM. IN MY ROOM.

DO MY DREAMING AND MY SCHEMING.
LIE AWAKE AND PRAY.
DO MY CRYING AND MY SIGHING.
LAUGH AT YESTERDAY.

NOW IT'S DARK AND I'M ALONE
BUT I WON'T BE AFRAID.
IN MY ROOM. IN MY ROOM.

-------------

THIS SONG BY THE BEACHBOYS IS VERY COMFORTING TO ME. YOU SEE I HAVE A ROOM..A MUSIC ROOM THAT IS ALSO A PRAYER ROOM. I GO THERE AND LOSE ALL OF MY CARES AND FEARS..I POUR IT OUT AND THEN IT BECOMES
"HIS" ROOM FOR ME...
